Our website has been down for a while, and you will notice it looks quite a bit different right now. In a classic “the cobbler’s children have no shoes” move I have neglected this site for a while because I’ve been working on other sites for my web design business.

So, I’ll keep working on it, but I figured something not looking right is better than nothing at all.

New Category: Favorite Things

We’ve decided to add a new category of posts called, “Favorite Things.” I know we have a page called that up top, but this will be a little different.

Favorite things will highlight those things in our life we are passionate about, things we wouldn’t want to do with out. We all have these things in our life, those things we find ourselves telling our friends about, trying to “sell” them on it.

Sometimes these things will be technological, because Jamie is a geek. Sometimes not. We hope all of them are useful, and that you come to enjoy them as much of us.

The New Site

Well, it’s here… The new and impoved jamieandholly.com. We hope you like the new look. More than just a new look, though, we hope this format will allow us to better connect to the people we care about.

We’ll fill it with more content about what’s going on our our lives, and we’ll update it more frequently. Our intention is to add some content to this home page at lease once a week. The photos and other content will still be here, but hopefully we’ll be able to share more than just that. We’ll be backfilling the old content into this format over the next few days.

On the technical side, we moved hosts to LunarPages, which we’ve found to be much faster, reliable, and managable. We’re also using some blogging software called WordPress to power most of it. Mixed with some custom PHP code, and the trusty Gallery software, we hope the new jamieandholly.com is better than ever. Feel free to send your comments via the contact page. Blessings!
