Finding Jesus in Suburbia is a theme that has developed in recent years in our lives. As backwards as it might seem for it to be hard to follow Jesus in the suburbs of the Bible belt, it is exactly that. Religion is found on every corner, but real “take up your cross and follow me,” radical, Jesus-following is a much different endeavor.

So, together we fight to love Jesus and others in the middle of a post-gospel, consumer-oriented, over-hyphenated Suburban culture. The current season we are in is battling breast cancer that was initially diagnosed June 11, 2009. For the complete saga, read all the posts in this category from last to first. IMG_2185-EditHolly‘s super power is the amazing ability to love and take care of two little kids and one big kid at the same time.  She creates the most fun, loving environment you’d ever find in a home.
Grady JamesGrady is the most friendly Ninja-loving 6-year-old you’ll ever met.  He loves learning at Kindergarten and hunting with Daddy.
Sweet AbbeyAbbey is the sweetest 4-1/2-year-old princess God may have ever made.  She loves dolls, being dirty, and snuggling with Mom and Dad.
