We’re Moving Home
Next month, we’re moving home to Texas. Those of you who have known us for while shouldn’t be too shocked by our news. We have been longing to do this for a long time. Finally, everything has come together to make it a reality.
First, the details. We should be all moved out from our home in Seattle by the middle of October. I know, it’s fast. You will just have to imagine the logistics we are juggling to pull this all off. We hope to be moved into a new home in the Dallas area by October 22. We’ll take a house hunting trip in late Septemeber. Please pray it is fruitful, and that we find just the right house that will be a blessing to us and those around us.
Jamie will keep his same job. Same boss, same role, same everything, except he’ll be doing it from Texas. It was Jamie’s bosses agreeing to this that turned it into a reality.
All of that said, it was not an easy decision. We love it hear in Seattle. We have great friends, a great church, great weather, and beautiful scenery. If it was up to us, we would have moved everyone we know to Seattle.
However, that wasn’t practical. The reality was we were spending thousands of dollars a year to fly home to see family, house prices in Seattle are outrageous, and Texas is home — always has been, always will be. We want our kids to grow up knowing their family and seeing them more that once or twice a year.
So your prayers are coveted as we make this transition. The website will stay here and you can always use it to stay in touch.

Wow, big changes, and I am sure all of your families and friends cannot wait to see and watch your children grow up in Texas and be closer to their grandparents.
I have many friends that lives in Dallas/Fort Worth/ & Garland/Richardson, Texas and they are really awesome and that is how I got my website from one of my friends that lives in Richardson.
Good luck and hope you find a beautiful house…
God Bless you all..
Heather

This Texas mom and grandmom is overjoyed that her son and his beautiful family are moving back to Texas! I know that they have sincerely enjoyed their time in Seattle. They have made many true friends and are members and leaders in a fine church. We have enjoyed visiting Seattle and all its glories. I am so looking forward to watching all my sons and their families together again.

I am overjoyed at the news of our daughter,son-in-law and precious grandchildren are coming HOME to Texas. We serve an awesome GOD and He has been so involved in this process. Jamie and Holly have been so blessed and priviledged to live in a beautiful city, be a part of an amazing church, and make live long friends. Again, because God is the rock in their lives and they have turned to him to meet their every need, He has prepared the way for them to return to Texas. The time they have lived in Seattle, was a time that God needed them to be there in order to grow them into the servants He wants them to be.
As a Mother and a Mother-in-law, I have had the priviledge of watching them become more like christ in these past years. God has taken them through fires and has molded them and taught them many lessons that they could only have learned from Christ himself. Jamie is a true christian leader in his home, in his community, and in his church. He loves God, he loves his family, and he loves sharing his faith with others and he follows Christ in all areas of his life. Holly has grown into a more beautiful godly woman as a wife, mother, daughter and friend because she has put christ first in her life. To watch both Holly and Jamie as they minister to their children (their daily needs ) is a joy because they show not only gentle, tender love..but honor and respect . God is so much a part of their lives that it is an encouragement to me to watch them.
I can never express my joy in watching the doors open as God has prepared the way before them in their journey home to Texas. I continue to pray for their safety in travel and for the days ahead as God continues to prepare the way.
God Bless this sweet family .
WELCOME HOME!!!!
